Week six of the Leeds Champion Schools Tournament stages saw more action from the local finals taking place at Boddington Hall, with the year 7 boys finals and Year 8 girls finals taking place in the world’s biggest Rugby League knock-out competition for a chance to be crowned national champions in September 2016.
With a host of teams from the different year groups already through to represent Leeds in the Yorkshire stages of the RFL Champion Schools Tournament, week six would sort out which teams from the year 7 boys and year 8 girls age groups in Leeds will represent the city as the seeded teams in the Yorkshire Cup against school teams from across Yorkshire.
Year 8 Girls Champion Schools at East Leeds Girls ARLFC- Monday 19th October
Congratulations to Cockburn School & Temple Moor School who have qualified to the Regional Stage of the Girls Champion Schools competition.

Unfortunately Leeds West Academy, Abbey Grange and Roundhay School you will not progress further in this year’s boys Y7 Champion Schools Competition, however are invited to join the Foundation's tournaments in the Leeds & Hunslet Schools Plate Competition on Wednesday 18th November.
To continue support for the teams going forward in the competition the Leeds Rhinos Foundation will be running a coaching masterclass to support teams representing Leeds in the Yorkshire cup at Leeds Rugby Academy on Monday 9th November. More details to follow.
