Set yourself a challenge in 2018 with the Run with the Rhinos team

On 8th July thousands of runners will take part in the annual Leeds 10k and Leeds Rhinos Foundation is encouraging more people than ever to take on the running challenge as part of the Run with the Rhinos team.

Last year 85 runners joined former Rhinos player Barrie McDermott and club staff to compete in the 10k and raised over £10,000 for the charity which has helped fund vital projects that support some of the city’s most vulnerable people.

Kate Grannan, Run with the Rhinos co-ordinator said: “As we start the New Year this is a great time for people to set health targets and take on new challenges, so if you’re looking for inspiration why not join the Run with the Rhinos team?

“We will be offering training tips and support as people prepare for the race and we will be joined by some Rhinos legends in our team too which we will announce shortly. The Leeds 10k is a fantastic event and is suitable for everyone, from experienced runners to beginners and we would love to inspire as many of the club’s supporters to join our team and to raise money for their official charity.”

The Leeds 10k is taking place on Sunday 8th July and costs £26 to enter.  To book your place visit tickets.therhinos.co.uk
