Leeds Rhinos Foundation’s Sky Try 9’s High School Rugby League Competition returned for the second year running for the first of three qualiiying tournaments for the year 9 age group.
Carr Manor, Cockburn, Temple Moor, Roundhay, Brigshaw, Woodkirk, Lawnswood, David Young Community Academy and South Leeds Academy turned out for the first competition at Roundhay School with the Year 7 and Year 8 boys tournaments following in the coming weeks.

The table after the first round of games sees Cockburn, Brigshaw and Temple Moor lead the way with six points from their opening three fixtures.

The next time the Year 9 competition teams meet will be on the 17th March at Bruntcliffe Academy.
The next Sky Try 9s Qualifying round takes place next Thursday for the Year 8 Boys competition.
