Friend of the Foundation Try Tag Rugby Yorkshire continued their fantastic support of Leeds Rhinos’ official charity by donating £256 pounds from the proceeds of their annual Yorkshire Corporate Challenge on the 6th April at Weetwood Sports Park in Leeds
The event which involved five organisations from across Leeds including DLA Piper, Trimble, Pitchero, Willis Tower Watson, K.B. Warriors (KBW Chambers) raised a total of £512 through entry fees, raffle prizes with proceeds split between the Leeds Rhinos Foundation and cancer charity Anthony Nolan.
Action on the night saw DLA Piper Win Corporate Challenge Yorkshire contesting the final against a strong Trimble team, who went into the final as favourites having completed the pool stage undefeated (including a win against DLA Piper).
DLA Piper took no notice of this form however and put in a great performance in the final, finishing 8 – 3 winners. Player of the final went to Sarah Findlay (DLA Piper) while male and female players of the tournament went to Alex Kaye and Chelsea Lianne Aston respectively, both from Pitchero.

Try Tag Rugby Yorkshire Early Summer Leagues – Mixed and men’s leagues start next week across Leeds and West Yorkshire including Cross Gates (Manston Park), being run in partnership with the Leeds Rhinos Foundation. You can sign up for one of the 8 week leagues as a team, group or individual.
