Leeds Rugby Foundation aims to change lives through sport, but this can only be done with help from YOU, the fans.
And now, there is a fantastic opportunity, which everyone can take part in to raise money for not one charity, but two!
The Founders Walk is a fantastic way to participate in an event showing support for Rugby League in the build-up to the 2013 World Cup.
Most importantly this as a chance to involve and support YOUR local community of Leeds in order to raise money for Leeds Rugby Foundation and Rugby League Cares, the charity of Rugby League.
The aim is to raise as much money as possible to help change lives through sport in Leeds, with a minimum of 20% of the funds also helping Rugby League Cares continue their fantastic work.
For more information on Rugby League Cares please visit, www.rugbyleaguecares.org.
The Founders Walk event starts on the 18th of October and runs until the 24th of October and with the world of Rugby League turning its attention on the sport it is an ideal time to make a difference.
People can walk as far as they like with challenging walks taking place over a number of days. All of the planned routes make their way through some of the key historical locations linked to the early days of the sport. The events objective is to encourage a Rugby League pilgrimage headed back to where it all began in 1895, the George Hotel in Huddersfield.
If you are interested in raising money for Leeds Rugby Foundation all you need to do is set up a fundraising page by visiting, www.justgiving.com.
