More activities announced for Children’s Day 2017

On Sunday 16th July, the annual Children’s Day, which is one of the biggest free events in the city will take place at Headingley Carnegie Stadium and Leeds Rhinos Foundation and The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation are pleased to announce that this year’s event will include over 25 activities for Children to take part in on the day.

With thousands of people set to attend the huge event, Children's Day is always a memorable day out for families in Leeds and as the excitement for the big day increases over the next month, we will be announcing a new activity each day on social media building up to the event.

LazerZone UK

LaserZone UK who have centres in Brighton, Castleford and Leeds offering Laser fun for birthday parties, student groups, youth groups, corporate entertainment as well as stag & hen nights will be providing a bean bag throw station on Children’s Day where you can meet the team and find out more about what LaserZone has to offer.

Girl Guiding

Girl Guiding UK, who are the leading charity for girls and women in the UK with almost 600,000 members and over ten million members in 145 countries worldwide will be providing badge making activity station on Children’s Day.

The YCF

The YCF, will be at #ChildrensDay2017 providing the Yorkshire Cricket Museum tour and an inflatable throw show on the 16th July for Leeds’ biggest FREE family day out.

The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation deliver cricket based education and community programmes within Yorkshire under the five themes of Health & Well-Being, Education, History & Heritage, Participation and Inclusion, engaging with primary and secondary schools across the region and thousands of people as the official charity of Yorkshire Cricket.

BUPA

BUPA representatives will be in attendance on the day to talk about health awareness and their care work in the community.

Central Yorkshire Scouts

Central Yorkshire Scouts, provide fun and friendship, challenge and everyday adventure to over 6500 boys and girls age 6 to 25 in Leeds and Wakefield from all cultures and backgrounds and will be providing a circus activities station on Children’s Day.
