The Rhinestones Dance Academy have been getting in the festive mood at their final classes of 2014 and have also helped raise money for the Leeds Rhinos Foundation and Wheatfields Hospice.
The young dancers who attend classes each week throughout term time started their Christmas celebrations by wearing festive clothing, dancing to Christmas songs and taking part in a raffle.
All the children who came along donated £1 and this money will go to Wheatfields Hospice and Leeds Rhinos Foundation.
Speaking about the Christmas themed classes, Leeds Rhinos Foundation’s Dance Development Officer, Nicola Booth said: “It’s been a fantastic year for the Rhinestones and this festive themed class was a great way to finish 2014. We had lots of fun on the night and I would like to thank all the dancers for their efforts this year and for their generous donations to two fantastic charities. I am already looking forward to 2015 and some exciting opportunities for our Dance Academy.”
The Rhinestones Academy runs classes for dancers aged 5-18 at three different venues. Dancers of all abilities are welcome and they will learn a variety of dance moves and have lots of fun. For more information on Rhinestones click here or contact nicola.booth@leedsrugby.com
