The Leeds Rhinos Foundation are delighted to announce that the Dance Spectacular event will be returning to the pitch in 2015. The event will take place on the famous Headingley Carnegie Stadium pitch during the half time interval at the Leeds Rhinos v St Helens game on Friday 3rd July with an 8pm kick off and registration for the event is now available.
This event is growing year on year and we are aiming to make this year the biggest yet. The invitation is open to both our Ambassador Primary and Secondary Schools, with Years 5-8 eligible to take part. The dance is open to boys and girls of all dance abilities and we are looking for 20-25 children from each school.
We will provide participating schools with a DVD of the dance and a CD with the accompanying music track. This enables schools to get familiar with the dance and practice ahead of their big day. In addition, one of our qualified dance teachers will be going into participating schools to conduct a rehearsal with the children.
The rehearsal will last for one hour and will be held between 15th and 30th June with dates to be confirmed.
The cost of this trip is £5 for any children taking part in the dance.
