LRF receive cheque for £7,250 from nationwide tele-communications company

Leeds Rugby Foundation would like to pay thanks to Tim Sedgwick, Director at Talk Straight and Schools Broadband, who handed over a cheque to LRF Chairman Neil-Kaiper Holmes for £7,250 at the recent Leeds Rhinos vs Widnes Vikings match.

2013 proved to be an excellent year in which Talk Straight saw many Leeds schools switch to their broadband connection, giving them a faster service together with industry leading content filtering and security. As a company passionate about helping young people, Talk Straight seen how LRF had made a huge impact on the lives of youngsters in West Yorkshire and wanted to support them in delivering these much valued services.

LRF Chairman Neil-Kaiper Holmes paid thanks to Tim and his team, he said: "We are very grateful to Talk Straight for their generous donation which will enable us to increase the work we do with schools throughout the Leeds area benefitting youngsters by getting them interested and participating in sport, especially rugby league."

Talk Straight Director Tim Sedgwick commented: “As a local company that delivers services to schools, we are delighted to be able to put this money back into to the local community. The Foundation does some excellent work in improving young people’s lives in West Yorkshire and we want to support them in continuing that.”
