Get involved with Children’s Day 2017

There will be activities around the stadium on Children's Day

On Sunday 16th July, the annual Children’s Day, which is one of the biggest free events in the city will take place at Headingley Carnegie Stadium and Leeds Rhinos Foundation and Yorkshire Cricket Foundation are looking for local organisations to get involved.

With thousands of people set to attend the huge event this is a great opportunity to showcase your organisation.  Many top attractions from across Yorkshire have already confirmed their attendance such as Team Activ, Nandos, Leeds Force Basketball, The Works Skaterpark, The Rainbow Factory, Laserzone, Wagamama, Girl Guides, BUPA, Oxygen Free Jumping, UK Outdoor Fitness and Central Yorkshire Scouts.

Speaking about Children’s Day, Gareth Cook, Community Manager at Leeds Rhinos Foundation said: “Children’s Day is celebrating its tenth year at Headingley Carnegie and what has helped make this event a huge success is the support from organisations and businesses across Yorkshire who put on activities around the stadium for the children to enjoy and we would like to see as many of them represented as possible once again this year.

“The Rhinos players and staff always attend the day along with hundreds of families from across the region and both charities are proud to be able to put on this free event each year and we hope the 2017 Children’s Day is the biggest and best yet.”
