Leeds Rhinos Head coach Brian McDermott is launching the 2015 coach education program on Monday 23rd February with an interactive Q&A and example coaching session at Kirkstall training ground
Leeds Rhinos Foundation's all year round coach education programme provides community coaches with current and professional coaching information and techniques as well as, an opportunity to share best practice.
The workshops cater for coaches working with a range of groups and abilities, from junior coach’s right through to scholarship level.
The session at Leeds Rugby Academy is aimed at those coaching teams aged 12 and above and will cover a classroom based Q&A followed by a field session, where Brian McDermott will coach a local under 16s team.
The fully interactive evening will allow attendees to watch and pick up tips from the Grand Final and Challenge Cup winning coach which starts at 6:45pm-8:15pm and will be the first of many sessions this year delivered by Mac and his team of coaches and conditioners.
