Leeds Rugby Foundation would like to offer all of its Ambassador community clubs the chance to take part in their Winter Indoor Touch Rugby festivals at Football World Leeds, taking place between November 2021 and March 2022.
Having enjoyed huge success with running this programme for clubs throughout the winter months for twelve years before the pandemic, the Foundation are once again bringing back their junior indoor touch rugby festivals for the u7s u8s, u9s, u10’s, u11’s & u11s girls age groups.
NB: These are the age groups for the 2021 season.
Organised by Community Clubs Development Officers Sam Horner and Helen Schofield, these festivals- part of the Foundation’s Rugby League Development Plan with Mears Group- aim to promote and develop ball skills, agility, speed, support play and teamwork- providing a safe and competitive environment for teams to play in during the winter months when outdoor pitches are unsuitable for use.
Clubs can enter as many different teams as they wish per age group, with matches played in a fun round-robin style format. The event will be run as a 5-a-side festival and each team can also have substitutes, ideally 2 per team.

Registration will take place 30 mins before the festival start time.
There will be an entry fee of £20 per team for the festivals to cover the facility costs and certificates for each player.
