Tom’s older brother Ben Kaye plays for Halifax and is a former Leeds Rhino himself, having come through the club’s academy and making a try-scoring first team debut against Harlequins in 2008.Tom gets stick from the lads every week for wearing Halifax training gear, despite following Leeds!

The forward first came into PDRL through another charity he represents called Team Colostomy UK. He was asked to join the Rhinos’ side after he played for Team Colostomy, impressing coaches and players alike.

His favourite rugby moment was making his debut for the Rhinos PDRL team against Wakefield in the first festival of the 2019 season. It was a day to remember for him, as on the last play of the game he scored the winning try against the hosts- a special moment for the whole team!
