What made you join the PDRL team?

TK asked me to come and train with Leeds after meeting each other on the Team Colostomy UK charity rugby league team.

How has playing for the PDRL team changed your life?

After a couple of surgeries due to suffering with a chronic illness left me disabled for the rest of my life, I believed my playing says were over. PDRL is a form of rugby that has got me back on the pitch and enjoying rugby, and life again. For this I am grateful to Leeds Rhino’s and PDRL in general.

What is your favourite thing about playing for the PDRL team?

Everyone has a unique story, it’s humbling being on the pitch with all of the team and what we have all been through in our personal lives.

Despite what many of us have been through, we put on the jersey and try our best for each other and the team. Being on the pitch is an amazing feeling, everything else that comes is a bonus.

What is your most memorable moment whilst playing for the PDRL team?

Scoring the winning try in the 2021 Grand Final when the game went to golden point. I doubt I will ever surpass this achievement and treasure the memory for the rest of my life.
