Education Projects Officer

JOB ROLE

I am responsible for managing and delivering to a number of the Leeds Rhinos Foundation’s Education projects, including the groundbreaking ‘Tackle It’ programme which aims to tackle the issue of domestic violence by working with preparators in order to stop re-offending, as well as the Youth Endowment Fund’s ‘Inspiring Futures’ programme with high-risk secondary school students in need of extra support and guidance in order to keep them out of danger and maximise their potential.

SPORTING BACKGROUND

Started playing Rugby league at Dewsbury Celtic RLFC at U8’s up to Open age before moving onto Castleford Tigers Scholarship/U18’s where I represented Yorkshire in a test series against Cumbria and Lancashire & represented & captained England Colleges/Universities in a series against Scotland. Also later this year I will be linking up with GB Teachers Rugby League & Hungary National Rugby League Squad.

I was also head coach of the Wakefield College 2nd team which played in the regional college league.

BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT

Representing & Captaining England students in a test series against Scotland.

ROLE MODEL

Parents and Great Grandma have been great role models for me as well as all the coaches who have contributed to my development over the years.
