NCS Recruitment Officer
JOB ROLE
I am part of the National Citizens Service Team at the Foundation, a Youth Programme aimed at increasing 15–17-year-olds participation in their local community alongside giving them the chance to improve their prospects, through a wide range of experiences. I help to recruit participants within schools for our programmes and also work closely with our NCS Officer to plan, organise and deliver the induction week, residential trips, planning week and prepare the groundwork for a successful final week social action project
BACKGROUND
I grew up in Portugal and moved to the U.K. in 2018 where I studied Events Management at Leeds Beckett University. In 2021, I worked as a Team Leader on the NCS Summer/August Programme, which is when I decided I wanted to continue working with young people and joined the Leeds Rhinos Foundation as a NCS Recruitment and Engagement Officer.
BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT
Gaining a BA Events Management degree from Leeds Beckett University.

My Mum is my biggest role model.
