SPORTING BACKGROUND

I started playing Rugby when I was 10 and moved into coaching at Leeds Beckett University during my time studying. Graduated with a BSc in Sports Studies in 2020 and I am now studying a MSc in Sports Coaching at Leeds Beckett too. Started with Leeds Rhinos Foundation in early 2022, after moving over from the Wakefield Trinity Foundation. I am also currently the 2nd team Head Coach at Leeds Beckett University and Assistant Coach with Wakefield Trinity Scholarship.

ROLE MODEL

Rob Burrow, as I thought he was amazing as a player growing up. I remember watching him against New Zealand when I was younger and going toe to toe with their biggest players, and I’ve admired him as a player ever since. Then the way he’s gone tackling his MND Diagnosis has really shown his strength as a person and I believe it is something to look up to.

BEST SPORTING MOMENT

Playing in the University National BUCS Final with Leeds Beckett.
