Leeds Rhinos Foundation is the official charity of Leeds Rhinos who play Rugby in the Super League. We deliver projects in the heart of the community by harnessing the power of sport to make a lasting and positive impact on individual lives.
The Foundation delivers a range of projects under three principles of Sport / Physical Activity, Health and Education. We use Sport as the tool to engage with a whole range of individuals, delivering important lifestyle messages and inspiring others to make positive changes to their own lives.

As the fundraising and Partnership Officer you will work closely with the Leeds Rhinos Foundation management team to develop a fundraising strategy and enhance existing partnerships by building relationships and servicing specific elements of such partnership agreements.

You need to be adaptable, pro-active and a real team player who can work towards financial targets and deadlines with a positive attitude towards your work. A clear understanding of the Leeds Rhinos Foundation values and the outcomes we endeavour to achieve for the communities we serve.

Responsibilities
  • Motivating and facilitating current partners to maximise the funds they raise.
  • Inspiring new business partners to raise money, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing partners.
  • Work with the management team to activate specific tasks to benefit any of our current partnerships.
  • Specific joint fundraising targets with Charity partners.
  • Organising traditional foundation fundraising events and activities, such as Run with the Rhinos, Annual Dinner, Foundation Raffle.
  • Developing new and imaginative fundraising activities, many of which involve organising events.
  • Raising awareness of the charity and its work at local and national levels, e.g. by giving talks to groups or seeking photo opportunities with the media.
  • Developing and coordinating web-based fundraising, online auctions and merchandise sales.
  • Increasing funds by researching and targeting charitable trusts and businesses whose criteria match the charity's aims and activities and working with the management team to progress.
  • Recruiting, organising and managing volunteers to carry out various functions within the charity.
  • Managing and updating databases to record donor contact and preference information.
Salary 21-25k Dependent on experience
