Leeds Rhinos' analysis team will join Assistant Coach Barry Eaton for the latest instalment of Leeds Rhinos Foundation's Coach Education programme on 22nd March at Leeds Rugby Academy
Now in its 6th year, Coach Education, which is part of the charity's Rugby League Development Plan, sponsored by Mears, provides community coaches with current and professional coaching information, techniques and opportunities to see members of the Rhinos playing and coaching staff deliver example coaching sessions.

Headed up by Rhinos Assistant Coach Barry Eaton, the programme caters for coaches working with all age groups and abilities, from juniors, open age, right through to the elite level utilising the facilities at Leeds Rugby Academy and live workshops with the Rhinos scholarship squad.

Following workshops with guest coaches Adam Cuthbertson and Rob Burrow who kicked off the programme in 2017, Head of Analysis for the club, James Bletsoe, will be joining Barry Eaton for a workshop on the theme of theme of game strategy, game stats and video analysis.

Using footage and stats from Rhinos games and other coaching examples, community coaches can see and hear first-hand from Barry and James how the Leeds Rhinos prepare for and analyse games with a chance to ask game specific questions in the usual open floor format.

Community Club Development Officer Sam Horner said: "This is our third workshop of the year which we hope will offer something a bit different for our community coaches.

"Game stats and video analysis are very useful coaching tools in the modern game and James and Barry will offer a unique insight into how it is used at the elite level, so we encourage all coaches interested to come along and enjoy another very informative workshop."

Coaches are asked to arrive at 6.45pm to register on the night with the session taking place in the players review lounge from 7pm to 8:30pm.
