Leeds Let's Get Active makes getting active easier. It offers the first steps for those wanting to become more active and make a significant change to their lives. While open to all, the sessions are aimed at encouraging people who do little or no regular physical activity.
Across the Leeds city council leisure centres there are free gym (14+) and swim sessions available, as well as other free activities in your local area.
If a leisure centre isn't really your thing, Leeds Let's Get Active is bringing other fun activities like Zumba, beginners running, and family fitness sessions to your local parks and community centres.
To take part all you have to do is register on the website www.leedsletsgetactive.co.uk, answer a few questions and fill in some basic details.

Stars of the treble winning Leeds Rhinos team have given their support to the NHS Stay Well this Winter campaign, which aims to help those who are most vulnerable to stay healthy.
The campaign is aimed at people aged 65 or over, those with long-term health conditions, pregnant women and parents of children aged two, three and four and in school years 1 and 2 and provides them with valuable information on how they can maintain their health over the winter months.
The Rhinos players are encouraging their fans to join them by saying how they will commit to helping a friend or relative stay well this winter.
