Leeds Rhinos Foundation's TryZone Education Centre based at Headingley Carnegie Stadium is a purpose built facility that provides the ideal learning environment for a range of educational and personal development projects for children, young people and adults alike. All classes take place in two multi-use and interactive classrooms overlooking the famous Headingley Carnegie pitch.
These programmes can be delivered because of the support received from the Asda Foundation, IGEN Trust, British Gas and Leeds City Council to name but a few. The organisations we partner with, contribute both financially and through volunteers to help support the good work we do.
Leeds Rhinos Foundation is committed to providing an inclusive Learning Centre; with projects aimed at children, young people and families from across Leeds. A number of programmes are delivered all year round including after-school projects, work skills clubs, and classes for ESOL learners. We also offer personal development programmes for young people who are engaged in education and support for young people to get back into education, training or employment.
Our projects are designed to promote improving children, young people's and adult's physical and mental well-being. They focus on increasing life opportunities and raising chances of success. With support from the dedicated team and other positive role models we can assist in building confidence and self-esteem, whilst offering group members the chance to learn new skills
Our learning centre operates a 'no put-down zone' and our staff are friendly and supportive to all. We're all extremely passionate about our on-going commitment to create opportunities and find positive outcomes for everyone who comes to the Centre.
