About The Camps

CampsThe Leeds Rhinos Camps, supported by Wakefield & District Health & Community Support Ltd are held during the school holidays and offer children a fun, activity based courses and the chance to meet their Rhinos heroes.

The camps are delivered by Leeds Rhinos Foundation's qualified coaching staff and are held at different venues across the city. Through our wealth of experience we have been able to devise a variety of camps that will suit all children, including activity, dance and rugby specific camps.

All attendees on any of our camps will get

  • Quality coaching from qualified staff
  • The chance to meet other first team players
  • An appearance from Ronnie the Rhino
  • A Leeds Rhinos camp T-shirt
  • A Leeds Rhinos gym bag
  • An invitation to take place in a pitch parade at the Leeds Rhinos match

Activity Camps

Attendees will get the chance to try out a whole range of sports, including rugby league, football, basketball, netball and dodgeball. They will also meet Ronnie the Rhino and there will be appearances from Leeds Rhino players.

Dance Camps

The Dance camps are led by Leeds Rhinos Foundation's Dance Development Officers, Nicola Booth and Alishia Schofield, who dance with the Spencer Properties Dance team who perform at every Rhinos home game. The camps offer aspiring dancers the chance to learn new moves and routines, which they will share with their friends and family at the end of the camp.

Rugby Camps

The Rugby camps are ideal for budding young players to develop their rugby skills. As well as receiving coaching from the Leeds Rhinos Foundation's qualified staff we also have had guest Rhinos coaches in previous years including Rhinos stars Jamie Jones-Buchanan, Danny McGuire and Brett Delaney.

Camp times range from 2 day or 5 days
